Meanwhile, Anakin Skywalker, once a Jedi Knight, casts away all that he holds dear and embraces his anger to become the evil Darth Vader. Protected by a pair of what will become known as the Emperor’s Royal Guard, they plot together the final destruction of the Jedi.
